Chilli Eggs

Lets get spicy with Chefs Wayne’s Chilli Eggs recipe

Serves 2 | Prep time: 10min | Cook time: 15min

What you will need –


  • 6 whole eggs
  • Dash of milk
  • 2 tbsp sambal *if you like allot of chilli feel free to add more
  • Thinly sliced bacon
  • 2 spring onion thinly sliced
  • Manchego *can use parmesan or cheddar if you prefer
  • Crispy shallots

What you need to do –


  • In a bowl whisk the eggs and the milk together
  • Pre heat your frying pan with a small amount of canola oil
  • Add bacon and cook until just before its crispy
  • Add the sambal and cook for a few seconds
  • Add into the pan your scrambled egg mix and cook to your liking
  • Remove the scrambled egg mix from the heat
  • Mix through the spring onions
  • To serve place on plate *add toast if you wish and micro plane cheese over the eggs
  • Sprinkle the crispy shallots over the top to finish
